Update your AmeriCorps Portal Information
AmeriCorps would like to remind you to update your My AmeriCorps Portal contact information with a permanent e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number. Please do not include e-mail addresses affiliated with educational institutions. This will ensure you are able to receive important communication about your experience with Public Health AmeriCorps.
To update your contact information, click on “edit my contact information” on the home screen of your portal account. You can also reach out to the AmeriCorps hotline for technical support and issues at 1-800-942-2677.

Final Call: Sign up for Social Media Training
AmeriCorps members, with their term of service extending until Sunday, March 31, are invited to participate in a training about using social media to build trust through more effective health communications. Training begins in January and covers topics such as:

the role and value of social media during public health emergencies and beyond in today’s information landscape;

how to develop an actionable social media strategy;

partner engagement approaches online to enhance community efforts on the ground; and
-
translating science for social media to increase credibility and trust.
