Thank you for your interest in attending the Fifth Annual CMS Multi-State Medicaid HITECH Conference to be held May 21-23, 2013 at the William H. Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, Md.

Pre-Conference workshops and interactive networking roundtable discussions for new and advanced Medicaid staff will be offered again this year. Advance registration is required, as seating is limited. Please note that priority registration will be granted to State staff.

New Medicaid Staff Workshop 101

12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Workshop 101 will feature an overview of what new Medicaid staff need to know about the EHR Incentive Programs, including current activities and priority areas. New Medicaid staff are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Advanced Medicaid Staff Workshop 201
Tuesday, May 21, 2013
12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Workshop 201 will go beyond the basics of the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program and focus on strengthening the impact and effectiveness of the Program; in addition to identifying ways to tackle evolving operational challenges.

Interactive Networking Roundtables I

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Roundtable discussion topics will include: CQM Reporting; Health Information Exchange and 90/10 Funding; Implementation Advance Planning Document (IAPD) /State Medicaid Health Information Technology Plan (SMHP); Provider Outreach; and Federal Technical Assistance.

Interactive Networking Roundtables II

Roundtable discussion topics will include: Leveraging Funding; Meaningful Use Data; Public Health Obstacles; Staff Continuity and Sustainability; and IHS, Tribes & Health Information Technology.
