Re:         SDC/CIC Annual Training Conference – reservations filling up quickly

You’re invited to attend this year’s annual training conference. The training conference will take place April 1-3, 1:30 pm- 4:30 pm, EDT.  

The Data Users Branch (DUB) is hosting this virtual conference with a series of webinars. The Census Bureau has a limited number of reservations available and they are beginning to fill up. The final registration day is this Thursday, March 27, 2014. After that, no further reservations will be accepted.

Attached is the conference agenda. One of the highlights of the conference will be the session with Nancy Potok, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer at the U.S. Census Bureau. Other sessions include: an update on ACS, an update on upcoming data releases, an employment data refresher, how to access ACS PUMS data, an overview of the FTP site, using maps to understand your constituents, examining census data for Indian country, and a look at the new and improved SDC clearinghouse site.

Please note: there are a limited number of phone lines for participants. In order to guarantee that you can attend the conference, you will need to register now to reserve your place. Please use the link below to register. Once registered, you will receive the log-in information for April 1 in a confirmation email. Log-in information for April 2 and 3 will be sent to you by DUB after registration has closed.
