This webinar will cover the Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS), the world’s largest collection of publicly available individual level census data. These data include U.S. decennial Census and American Community Survey data from 1850 through the present, and Census data from more than 70 countries. We will explain how the datasets were created and integrated, demonstrate how they can be obtained free of charge through the web-based extraction system, and show how to analyze these data in a statistical package and over the web.
