New Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) Exemption Codes

Effective immediately, the following DDTC ITAR Exemption Codes have been added to the Automated Export System (AES):

123.17(H)   

 

Temporary exports of body armor, which may include a helmet, or chemical agent protective gear, which may include one additional filter canister, for personal use to Iraq 

  

123.17(I)

Temporary exports of body armor, which may include a helmet, or chemical agent protective gear, which may include one additional filter canister, for personal use to Afghanistan
