🔎 What’s New With the Census Bureau?
When was the last time you used data.census.gov to explore Census Bureau data?
In February, we launched a newly updated data.census.gov Resource page. With this update, data users can easily navigate the website, and find how-to materials for all their data.census.gov needs.
America Counts tells the stories behind the numbers in a new and inviting way. We feature stories on various topics such as families, housing, employment, business, education, the economy, emergency management, health, population, income and poverty.
In February, we published 9 America Counts stories including this one on the impact of broadband on local communities. The story features an interactive dashboard that includes a series of maps showing different broadband access measures as well as economic characteristics that research suggests could be influenced by increased access to broadband.
Last year, we formally invited the public to share their input and ideas for an improved 2030 Census. In March, we shared some important 2030 Census planning updates - including a video about the feedback we have received so far. We will use this input to inform our decisions on the 2030 Census operational design.
