Local Closure for Port 1601 (Charleston) on Thursday, September 13 and Friday, September 14, 2018

The Port of Charleston, SC Port Office will be closed on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 1600 due to the forecast of Hurricane Florence impacting the Charleston coastline as well as coastal areas in South Carolina stretching to Myrtle Beach.

Both Thursday, September 13 and Friday, September 14, 2018 will be local closure days granted to all who file entries at the Port of Charleston, SC (1601). CBP is extending two additional days, without penalty, for any entry summaries and payments of duties that were due on Thursday, September 13, 2018 and Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Port of Charleston, SC.
