CSMS# 17-000554 - Update: CBP Operations for MFO/TFO Ports during the Aftermath of Hurricane Irma

This message is being issued to provide trade partners an update on the operational status for Miami Field Office (MFO) and Tampa Field Office (TFO) ports during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Please refer to the information below for the list of impacted ports:

1801 – Tampa

• All area ports are currently closed and updates will follow.

1808 – Orlando

• Will be updated soon.

5201 – Miami Seaport

• Miami Seaport Agriculture will resume operations on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. EST.

• Trade will resume operations on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. EST. Current document processing location at Foreign Trade Zone is without power. If the outage continues, trade can process holds, releases, etc. from our COOP locations. Industry will be notified if the processing location is changed.

5202 – Key West

• Port of Key West will remain closed until further notice.

5203 – Port Everglades

• Trade operations will resume on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. EST. The Customs House building is currently without power. If power is not restored, industry will be notified of our alternate location identified as part of the PEV/FLL Trade Operations COOP.

5204 – West Palm Beach

• Anticipating to resume trade operations on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017. Port will update actual opening time.

5206 – Miami International Airport

• MIA Agriculture - Air Cargo Operations resume work on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017, at 0700 a.m. EST.

• MIA Trade - Trade Operations will resume work on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

CBP will provide additional updates as new information becomes available.
