Please join the Administration for Children and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau’s Family Violence Prevention and Services division (FVPSA Program) in its observance of national Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).

Presenters will discuss emergency disaster response, how these actions impact victims and survivors of domestic violence, the role of first responders and victim advocates, and ways that we coordinate and implement recovery efforts on local, state, and national levels. Time will be allotted for questions

from participants. Given the devastating and unfortunate disasters that the country has experienced over recent months, this is a relevant time for us to educate ourselves on these issues.
