Dear Friend,
As our nation continues to address our dark history of racism and violence against Black Americans, I want to hear from you on how we can all work towards building more just and fair communities.
Please join us for a virtual town hall next week to discuss racism in our law enforcement and criminal justice system. I will be joined by two of my esteemed colleagues, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus Rep. Karen Bass (CA-37) and Chair of the House Democratic Caucus Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08,) as we talk about the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 and other steps we should be taking to dismantle discrimination and inequity in our institutions, towns, and country.
Date: Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Time: 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM Location: via Cisco Webex - all you need to do is click the link below!
