ATF, US Attorney’s Office Investigation Results in Arrest and Detention of Cranston Resident on Federal Drug Trafficking, Firearm Charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – An ongoing investigation by agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the United States Attorney’s Office has resulted in the arrest and detention of Antonio Fortes, 24, of Cranston, on federal drug trafficking and firearm charges, announced United States Attorney Peter F. Neronha and Daniel J. Kumor, Special Agent in Charge of the Boston Field Division of ATF.
