Tiffany Thomas Sentenced to Five Years Imprisonment
Tiffany Thomas, 29, of South Bend, Indiana, was sentenced today for health care billing fraud and aggravated identity theft. According to documents in the case, in 2014 and 2015, Thomas obtained prescriptions and medications including alprazolam, hydrocodone, promethazine and others fraudulently and then caused fraudulent billings and claims for reimbursement through Indiana Medicaid and other health care benefit programs.
