Over the past four years, USAID has had an impact on millions of people. And it took many forms: providing assistance through the lingering impacts of the pandemic, coping with unprecedented environmental disasters, surviving brutal conflicts, building businesses, becoming citizen activists, and even advancing diplomacy through sport. What ties all of these examples together is USAID’s work to build a foundation for success that can be sustained and expanded in the future. At the end of the Biden-Harris administration, we’re highlighting efforts in private sector engagement, Ukraine, internal reforms, food security, and lead, and the contributions of Foreign Service Nationals.
