USAID Administrator Samantha Power spoke this month about the successes, hurdles, and insights coming out of the initiative. “I meet people who tell me about how working with USAID has transformed their lives, helping them get the capital they needed to start a business or to recover their livelihoods after a disaster, or get the education that allowed them to pursue their goals,” she said. “There is enormous power in the connections that USAID’s partnerships have forged around the planet.”
