In Armenia this month, USAID Administrator Samantha Power announced $11.9 million in new funding commitments for digital transformation, food security, communication, and emergency preparedness—part of the more than $65 million the United States is providing to support  the eastern European country. There are multiple aims behind this support: building resilience, deepening our partnership, and supporting the Armenian government’s reform agenda. The Administrator met with business leaders, young people, government officials, and others to hear firsthand the impact that strengthening democratic institutions is having in their lives.
