AHRQ Director to Deliver A Keynote Address at Diagnostic Error In Medicine Conference

AHRQ Director Richard Kronick, Ph.D., will deliver a keynote address at the 8th International Diagnostic Error in Medicine Conference on September 28 in Washington, D.C.  A call for abstracts has been extended to July 3, and you are invited to submit abstracts addressing the epidemiology of diagnostic error, predisposing factors for diagnostic error, and strategies to detect or reduce diagnostic error. The conference, which runs September 27- 29, will also include keynote addresses by Tejal K. Gandhi, M.D., President and CEO of the National Patient Safety Foundation and Francis J. Crosson, M.D., former Executive Director of the Permanente Federation, Kaiser Permanente.
