Forecasted Flights
The summer travel season will soon be slowing down, but we’re still seeing a high number of flights every week. Thursdays continue to be busiest, with nearly 55,000 flights forecast this week. Remember to pack safe as you head out to those final summer break destinations!
No Drone Zones Near Wildfires
Make sure to keep drones on the ground while emergency responders work to contain wildfires. Unauthorized drone operations can delay firefighting operations and put lives at risk. Make sure to check TFRs in the area before taking off!
This week’s guest Weather Squad forecaster is John Gumm with WKRC out of Cincinnati. John is forecasting intermittent storms throughout the Mid-Atlantic and into the Ohio Valley through Saturday. The skies will likely calm down by the end of the weekend.
