AirVenture at Oshkosh 2026
The world’s greatest aviation celebration is happening right now in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. More than 500,000 aviation enthusiasts will explore the world of flight throughout the week, attending safety workshops and witnessing daily air shows.

Oshkosh Traffic Count
It’s been a busy week for pilots and air traffic controllers at Oshkosh! We've seen 6,724 fights since AirVenture’s start last Thursday, with the highest total of 1,514 flights on Saturday. For one week each year, Oshkosh is the busiest airport in the world!
BNATCS Improvements at Oshkosh
The home of AirVenture, Wittman Regional Airport (OSH), is getting some major improvements to its air traffic control tower through the Brand New Air Traffic Control System. The new NAS Voice Recorder (NVR), which enables digital recording and storing of audio conversations, is operational. The tower also will receive new voice switches and telecommunications infrastructure by 2027.
