Super Bowl 2026

The big game is this weekend and the FAA is your one-stop shop for quick resources. For general aviation pilots flying into any Bay Area airport, we have a From the Flight Deck video series and a Special Air Traffic Procedures document to review. All pilots, including drone pilots, should always remember to check any active Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) before taking off.

Keep in mind that Super Bowl LX is a No Drone Zone. The FAA is collaborating with the FBI to enforce TFRs using federally authorized capabilities to detect, track, and assess unauthorized drone activity. Drone operators who enter restricted airspace without authorization face fines of up to $75,000, drone confiscation, and federal criminal charges.
