Top 10 Winter Travel Destinations

With spring still a couple months out, some travelers have cracked the code to staying warm year-round. Snowbirds noticeably drive up operations in warmer areas like Florida, Arizona and Southern California. The number one airport destination this winter is Palm Springs, followed by Southwest Florida and Palm Beach.

Super Bowl 2026

The FAA has useful safety information and tips for general aviation pilots flying to the San Francisco Bay Area for this year’s Super Bowl. No matter who they’re cheering for in the big game, all pilots must be aware of any Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), special air traffic procedures and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) in the area.
