Now Available: Summaries of FY22-23 P2 Grants
Information on the P2 grantees selected for fiscal years 2022 and 2023 and what their grants will address is now available on EPA’s website. Earlier this year, EPA selected 39 grantees for nearly $12 million in P2 grants funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. In addition, EPA selected 32 grantees for more than $9 million in P2 grants funded under the recurring P2 grants program.
Proposal Would Require GHG Reporting by Federal Contractors and Suppliers
In November, the Biden-Harris Administration proposed the Federal Supplier Climate Risks and Resilience Rule that would require federal contractors and suppliers to disclose their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate-related financial risks and set targets to reduce emissions. If adopted, the proposed rule would cover approximately 85 percent of the federal supply chain and result in greater efficiencies and reduced climate risk.
Presentations from P2 West: Pollution Prevention Roundtable Now Available
Videos, slides and notes from more than 20 presentations are now available online from P2 West, an annual conference that was held in October 2022 in Portland, Oregon. P2 West featured technical assistance providers, green business professionals and sustainability experts all focused on advancing the field of pollution prevention.
Apply to Include your Ecolabel or Standard in EPA’s Recommendations by Jan. 1

EPA has launched a process to add more standards and ecolabels to the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing program's Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels for Federal Purchasing. EPA will issue an estimated timeline for full assessments after the application deadline closes on Jan. 1, 2023.
