ICIS Release v6.2.0 Web Access Management (WAM) to EPA Production completed successfully!

*Please note* - USE YOUR WAM ID TO LOG INTO ICIS PRODUCTION ON MONDAY!
After a long weekend and another NCC power outage over the weekend, we successfully implemented the ICIS Web Access Management (WAM) Release v6.2.0. WAM allows EPA Internal users (HQ and Regional staff) to use the same ID and password they use to log into their computer to log into ICIS.
State users will use the WAM ID assigned to them from the EPA Portal. This ID is NOT associated with their computer login. However, these WAM IDs can also be used to access multiple EPA web applications including ICIS.
Changing to WAM will help reduce the number of usernames and passwords that users need to remember which allows them the opportunity to create more complex passwords resulting in better security.
When your log into ICIS on Monday make sure you use your WAM ID. You should already know this ID. If not, you can call your Regional System Administrator or the ICIS Hotline.
