Pesticide Report for Pesticide-Producing and Device-Producing Establishments Reporting Year 2024

Each active Pesticide-Producing and Device-Producing establishment must report production for the 2024 calendar year on or before March 1, 2025. If you wish to maintain an active pesticide establishment registration with EPA, you are required to report even if you did not produce pesticides or devices during the calendar year 2024

You may electronically submit your annual production reports for foreign and domestic pesticide establishments using the Section Seven Tracking System (SSTS). With SSTS you can quickly submit applications for new domestic establishments (EPA Form 3540-8) and submit Annual Production Reports (EPA Form 3540-16). You also can use the system to check the status of your form(s) (click for information on electronic reporting). We encourage all establishments to submit electronically to ensure proper submission and a timely review of your report.

To save time and money by electronically reporting, see our How-to Videos. If you have already registered for electronic reporting, go to https://cdx.epa.gov and login with your existing Username and Password. Please note, the electronic system will ask you to create a Passphrase when you begin your annual report. This passphrase is different than your CDX password and CANNOT be reset. Please do not forget your Passphrase.

If you fail to report on or before the March 1st annual due date you may be subject to enforcement actions under FIFRA Section 14, 7 U.S.C. §136l, which, provides for the assessment of civil penalties and/or criminal fines for violations of FIFRA. Failure to submit a report may result in termination of your establishment registration and impact your ability to legally produce pesticides and devices for sale or distribution in the United States, including importation into the United States.

If you have any questions, please contact the Regional Pesticide Establishment Coordinator in your area. We continually add helpful resources, frequently asked questions, paper forms and announcements on the EPA website, and encourage you to utilize the page.
