Utah's Special Session
The legislature will meet on Thursday morning and your ULCT legislative team has been working the phones all day and night on issues that will impact local government. ULCT/UAC Q&A with Lt. Governor Spencer Cox
ULCT joined UAC for a conversation with Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and learned more about the COVID-19 numbers in the state and the (hopefully) upcoming transition from the urgent to stabilization phase. Responding to questions about summer celebrations and gatherings from local leaders, the Lt. Governor said public gatherings would be one of the last things that will be recommended for reopening due to the threat posed. He refers to data from public events in other countries as an example.
