Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) Growth Hub invite North Worcestershire businesses  to a FREE breakfast seminar at Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster on Tuesday 10th September to discuss the finance options and opportunities available to local businesses. Hear from our expert speakers from BCRS, Finance Birmingham and the Growth Hub who will discuss the finance options available to local businesses, the obstacles you may need to consider, provide recommendations on how to resolve them and advice on how to maximise the chance of successfully raising the funding required. This will include a summary of the Midlands Engine Investment Funds.

Local entrepreneurs from some of the region’s fastest growing businesses are set to take centre stage at an upcoming event to celebrate start up business success across greater Birmingham & Solihull. The event will celebrate entrepreneurs who have been through the ‘Enterprise for Success’ scheme, supporting over 800 individuals with free personalised business advice. The event is open to anyone looking to start or grow their own business and will be a great opportunity to hear from some of those who have already done it. The event is on Monday 23 September, 10.00am to 1.30pm at The Prince’s Trust’s new regional headquarters in Digbeth, Birmingham.

Hogarths Stone Manor and Primrose Hospice have joined up to support local patients with life limiting illnesses and their families by staging a Fire walk this September.  This is a great opportunity for your and your team to do something positive together to support an outstanding and much valued local charity. The event starts at 5.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday 5 September with full training, food and DJ all part of the evening!

Redditch town centre businesses say yes to BID

Businesses in Redditch town centre have voted in favour of establishing a Business Improvement District (BID). 

Cllr Matt Dormer, Leader of Redditch Borough Council, said: "This is fantastic news particularly that the majority of businesses voted for this. They, like us, can see the potential that Redditch has and together we can unlock it.”
