Redditch training company launches new facility
Leading engineering training provider, MGTS (Midland Group Training Services) opened its brand new, purpose-built facility for engineering food maintenance and food process manufacturing earlier this month. This facility doubles MGTS’ capacity to train apprentices in the food industry sector.

Entries open for North Worcestershire Business Awards
Are you an ambitious start-up, an outstanding entrepreneur or a great employer? This is your chance to collect an award at the brand new North Worcestershire Business Awards which are now open to enter. There are five award categories, the winners of which will be presented a gorgeous glass trophy at the awards ceremony at Hogarth’s Stone Manor Hotel near Kidderminster in November. These awards are being organised by North Worcestershire EDR and North Worcestershire Business Leaders (NWBL) alongside business leaders from across North Worcestershire. Funding boost for Kidderminster town centre
We are delighted to announce the news that our bid to the Government for funding to help Kidderminster town centre under the Future High Streets Fund initiative has been successful. Our vision was based around three principal projects – bringing the former Magistrates’ Court and indoor market back into an active mixed use, developing the Crown House and Bull Ring area as a gateway into the town and bringing forward the redevelopment of the Bromsgrove Street car park area.

VIP Guest visits Royal Enfield showcase in Redditch
The grandson of R W Smith, one of the founders of Royal Enfield, turned up to the pop-up museum, in the Kingfisher Centre, which was installed following a partnership struck up between Redditch Borough Council and the international firm.
