Lion fields

Kidderminster town centre transformation continues

The ’final piece in the jigsaw’ for the transformation of the eastern side of Kidderminster Town Centre has now been approved by Wyre Forest District Council. The council has been working with local consultants, One Creative Ltd, to create a vision for ‘Parcel Four’ of Lion Fields, which centres on the Bromsgrove Street Car Park and surrounding area.  The plans now approved by the council will transform the eastern side of the town centre, delivering new spaces and uses within the town and creating a new link between Bromsgrove Street and Worcester Street.

A feasibility study to support the regeneration of Redditch town centre is underway. DragonGate Market Intelligence, a leading light in understanding redesign of major developments, has been commissioned by Redditch Borough Council. This is part of the Council’s agreed options study, which would look into the possibilities of regeneration and the creation of a community hub.

heave a heart and sleep out

On this Valentine’s Day, have a heart and sign up to sleep out for charity

The Big Worcester Sleep Out will take place on Thursday 4 April 2019 to raise money for three Worcester Charities; St Paul's Hostel, Warriors Community Foundation and Maggs Day Centre.  Everyone is welcome and the aim is that 100 people sleep out on the night, raising a minimum of £65,000. The Big Worcester Sleep Out will be held at Worcester Warriors Rugby Stadium and starts at 7pm.
