-
Compton and Up Marden CE Primary School, Compton, Chichester
-
Rumboldswhyke CE Infants’ School, Chichester

Stay protected against flu this winter
The NHS is advising eligible residents to get the flu vaccination and prevent the risk of developing serious illnesses.
People with long-term conditions, such as: breathing difficulties, heart problems or diabetes are urged to get the vaccine.
The free offer is also available to those aged 65 years and older and to people who live in a residential or nursing home, or individuals that work in health and social care.
It is recommended that residents get the vaccination each year because the flu virus changes.
More information can be found on the NHS website.

Improving Local Places and Spaces - Launch Event
Improving Local Places and Spaces officially launched on 3 October at an event, held at the Sussex Association of Local Councils Autumn Conference.
West Sussex County Council's Highways team introduced the initiative and explained the benefit it has to Town and Parish Councils. Many great discussions took place throughout the day, including conversations on ways that we can help to resolve issues Town and Parish Council's face and support them better going forward.
We received lots of positive feedback regarding the scheme and many attendees wanted to engage with it in the future.
improving Local Places and Spaces helps to support Town and Parish Councils, and community groups, by providing opportunities on the following:
- Community Highways Partnerships
- Community Led Improvements
- Community Action
