UK Youth Parliament in House of Commons

On Friday 10 November, members of West Sussex UK Youth Parliament joined 284 Youth MPs from all over the county in the House of Commons, as part of Parliament Week. This was to debate the top issues highlighted from the Make Your Mark Ballot. LGBT, Votes at 16 and Curriculum for Life were just a few topics young people tackled. From here, Youth MPs will lead campaigns on Curriculum for Life and Votes at 16 in their local areas.

"I can't summarise the day; all of it was amazing!" - Sofia, West Sussex Youth MP for Horsham and Mid-Sussex.

Watch the live stream from Friday

For more information on how to raise an issue with a West Sussex MYP, or about how to get involved email Caz Henry-Evans.
