Dating App for Young People
We
have recently been made aware of an App that is being called a “Teenagers
Tinder”. We don’t know too much about the App yet and are currently doing a bit of research but wanted you all to be aware of it. If anyone knows any
more about the App it would be good to hear from you as one of the young people we
are working with suggested they might be using it.
Lisa Orford has kindly looked into it and found some articles which can be found below

NEGLECT SURVEY - FOR ALL STAFF INVOLVED WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
It is important for the West Sussex Safeguarding
Children’s Board to understand the current knowledge and skills of the
workforce in identifying and tackling neglect.
In order to do this please click on the link below to
carry out a short questionnaire which should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete.
https://haveyoursay.westsussex.gov.uk/care-wellbeing-education/b8a8caa1
Your response will be used to plan the most effective way
to provide information and training to the workforce around this type of abuse.
We value your input into this piece of work and value
your feedback.
The closing date for completion is Friday 17th March
Thank you in advance

Chichester
Festival Youth Theatre
Chichester
Festival Youth Theatre (CFYT) is an award-winning youth theatre with over 700
members meeting weekly at CFT and various satellite locations across West
Sussex. Led by experienced practitioners, CFYT offers a safe and creative
environment where young people can develop performance skills, make new friends
and have lots of fun!
Our aim is to maintain and develop accessible, inclusive high quality
activities for all children and young people enabling them to develop
personally, socially and artistically. Young people come to us for a variety of
reasons; some because they are genuinely interested in following a career in
the arts, others because they want to meet new people and gain confidence and
self-esteem. Vital transferrable skills are also developed; creativity and
self-expression, critical reflection and analysis and an enhanced awareness of
social and cultural issues, all of which can have a positive impact on other
areas of a young person’s life and their wider community.
Sessions take place weekly during term time in Chichester, Midhurst, Bognor, Littlehampton, Lancing, Worthing,
Horsham, Billingshurst, Burgess Hill and Crawley. We offer bursaries for
low income families, young carers and those who are unable to pay full price
and are happy to discuss each individual case in confidence so please do feel
free to contact a member of the team by calling 01243 784437 or by emailing cfyt@cft.org.uk

Think Family Questionnaire
WSCC
Think Family are looking into the money worries that frontline workers see when
working with families. This questionnaire will take around 5 minutes to
complete and is designed to give WSCC Think Family a better understanding of
the money worries that families are facing that aren’t always being seen. It
would be a great help to Think Family if they could take the time to complete
the questionnaire.
