Dear Colleagues,

On Tuesday night I had the pleasure of attending the Anti-bullying Charter award presentation held at the Molineux. It was great to see so many schools, primary and secondary, taking anti- bullying so seriously. If you haven’t considered applying for the Charter yet, then please have a look. Bullying and Online Safety - Wolverhampton Safeguarding Together

Thank you to all the Early Years settings, schools and PVIs who have returned a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions so that we can ensure you are paid appropriately. If you haven’t returned it yet please do, to Claire Hardiman, it will affect your payment schedule.  EEF agreement.

Reminder from Payroll - Christmas Early Cut Off

Please can you ensure all amendments for the expected pay date of 21 December 2021 are received by Payroll no later than 5pm on Friday the 26 November 2021

For additional pay claims submitted via Agresso self-service you will need to submit your amendments by 5pm on Tuesday 7 December 2021.

The Payroll Schedule is always available on The Hub Schools Intranet page along with any further updates.

Wolverhampton launches combined Youth MP and Make Your Mark Ballots  

Make your mark

Encourage young people’s voices by taking part in both the Youth MP elections and Make you Mark for 2022. We are asking schools if they want to host a polling station to enable pupils to cast their votes.

By taking part, pupils have the chance to cast a democratic vote to help shape their future.

Deadline to register your schools’ interest in hosting a polling station is Friday 10 December 2021 at 5pm.

Support Available during school holidays

If your child is eligible for benefits related free school meals, support is available over the Christmas Holidays. Please look out for an email from your child’s school with details on how to apply online to receive the support. Applications open Friday 19 November and you can apply up until 26 November.

The Education Excellence team are working with the Central Midlands Computing Hub and the NCCE to bring you a Wolverhampton Primary and Secondary Computer Conference. The conference will be held virtually and there will be separate programmes tailored for Primary and Secondary colleagues.
