Free Events and opportunities for you from 14 to 31 March 2018
If you want to improve your wellbeing and social
connections, it’s hard to know where to start! Come along to the Wellbeing &
Memory Matters drop-in session and find out about the range of local
services offering support and talk to people who can help you.
Monday 19 March, 10:00am – 1pm, East Park Library, Hurstbourne Crescent WV1 2EE
and Wednesday 21 March, 10.30am – 2pm, Wolverhampton Central Library, Snow
Hill, City Centre WV1 3AX.
Wolverhampton has been recognised as a Dementia Friendly Community 2018.
Come along to our Dementia Information and Advice event and meet some of
our members who can give free information on dementia support in the city and
advice on matters such as safety, legal matters and how to become dementia
friendly on Wednesday 21 March, 10am – 2pm at Wolverhampton Art Gallery’s Georgian Room.
If you need help with a Blue Badge application or renewal, help is on
offer at the Blue Badge check and send surgery on Wednesday 21 March,
10am – 5pm at Warstones Library, Pinfold Grove, WV44P. Appointments are

If you are a carer for someone in your family, the Family Carers
Wellbeing Day is a day just for you! Come along and try some relaxation
techniques with our Tai chi taster, take part in activities and get information
to support you with your wellbeing and your caring role, including information
about ‘Memory Matters’ and Support in the Community. Please book your place by
calling 01902 553429 so that we can ensure we have the correct numbers for the
workshops and for refreshments.
