Morning Explorers at Thinktank, relaxed

Thinktank will open early on the morning of Thursday, February 22, for their Morning Explorers programme for families of children on the autistic spectrum. The relaxed session runs from 9am to 11am.

There is half price admission and one carer goes free.

Places must be pre-booked by calling 0121 348 8263.

Wolverhampton, Adventure Service Challenge

A group run by Barnardo’s in the Black Country which gives children with special needs or disabilities n Wolverhampton a chance to take part in an adventure service challenge. The group meets fortnightly and is suitable for ages 8-11. The group also organise holiday club play activities.

Half term Holiday Club at The Way Youth Zone – 19-23 February

If your school doesn’t run a Holiday Club and your students are aged 8 -12 years old why not let them know about The Way Wolverhampton Youth Zone Holiday Club.

Sessions are packed full of fun and the next Holiday Club will be running during half-term (19-23 February). There are a range of activities happening each day and it’s great value for money – a full day (8am-6pm) is £12 with lunch included, while a half-day (8am-noon or 1pm-6pm) is £10 with a snack.

The Contact freephone helpline is an advice service for parents and family members caring for a disabled child. We also have a dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) service to advise families, on any aspect of their child’s education.

The Clangers, Bagpuss & Co

    Oliver Postgate's voice and Peter Firmin's puppets shaped the childhood memories of millions during the 1960s and 1970s. This nostalgia-steeped exhibition goes behind the scenes with a display of original puppets, sets and filming equipment alongside some their other creations including Pogles Wood, Noggin The Nog and Ivor The Engine.
