 Council bid to acquire former Sainsbury’s site
A City of Wolverhampton Council bid to buy the freehold to the former Sainsbury’s site at St Georges Parade has been accepted by the receivers, subject to the exchange of contracts set for the middle of next month.

 The Sunbeam opens at i10
Greene King’s new Hungry Horse family friendly pub restaurant at i10 has opened its doors to the public. The venue, named in honour of the historic Wolverhampton motorcycle and car firm, has created 67 jobs all of which have been filled by city residents after the City of Wolverhampton Council helped Greene King to recruit local people for positions.

Ovivo, the worldwide expert in water treatment, will soon occupy the second floor of i10 after choosing it over other Midlands options for their expanding business. And the Council is in advanced negotiations with a number of businesses for the further 2 floors of office space, while Greene King, Superdrug and Kaspa's Desserts have taken 4 of the 6 retail units on the ground floor.
