Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our Minibeasts/Under the Sea topics all children in the Foundation Phase (Nursery to Year 2) will be visiting the Blue Planet Aquarium on Monday 17th June.
Children will take part in a classroom session at the aquarium where they will identify different habitats and learn about the amphibians, insects, marine life and reptiles that live there. They will also have the opportunity to watch a live show in the Aquatheatre and explore the exhibitions; taking a wander through the Underwater Shark Tunnel, explore the Coral Cave, and discover the exotic freshwater fish of South America in the Flooded Forest.
Children will need to wear school uniform for the trip. Children will require a filled water bottle and a packed lunch including a drink. Children will not be able to spend time in the shop, so please do not send any money in with them on the day of the trip.
We require a voluntary contribution of £15.50 per child towards the cost of entrance, the classroom session and transport. Please pay online using the link here or by cash or cheque made payable to Ysgol Sant Dunawd by Friday 14th June. Please also return the form below, either by email to mailbox@santdunawd-pri.wrexham.sch.uk or on paper by the same date indicating how you have made payment.
If there are insufficient contributions to make this activity viable the school reserves the right to cancel the visit.
We will be leaving school at 9:15am and will aim to return to school by 3:05pm. Bangor on Dee Childcare have been informed that Nursery children will not require the afternoon session as they will be on the trip. Please let us know if your child is attending After School Club on their return from the trip.
