Parking bays suspended so tower crane can be delivered

Fixed Penalty Notice

On Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November 2020 a tower crane is due to be delivered to aid the construction of the new building at Sansom Road development, which will provide 31 homes all for social rent..

So the crane can be delivered several parking bays have been suspended. Please do not park in these bays as doing so may mean your vehicle being removed and Fixed Penalty Charges imposed.

The crane component delivery and erection hours will be carefully controlled to minimise disruption to residents, although some noise is inevitable.

We apologise for any disturbance caused.

Longer working hours to speed up construction

Building Surveyor

To speed up work on the Sansom Road scheme the contractor has decided to work from 8am to 1pm on alternate Saturday starting in November 2020/

Disturbance to residents will be kept to a minimum.

The Government’s current national lockdown guidelines has made clear that construction work should continue if safe to do so.

All sites are COVID secure, clearly signed, and respect social distancing guidelines, with hand sanitation stations. Council officers regularly visit construction sites across the borough to ensure that regulations are being followed
