During summer 2019 a large number of residents and community groups shared their views on the Waltham Forest Draft Local Plan.
As we promised each comment has been recorded and the Council’s response put next to it in a document totalling more than 700 pages.
That document has now been published and be read online or downloaded.

We apologise for the delay in publishing the document.
This has been caused by the unexpectedly large number of comments received which had to be analysed and responded to – such participation is something we warmly welcome.
The COVID-19 pandemic has also delayed the process with some Council officers taking on duties outside their normal role to help residents and business cope with the impact of COVID-19.

The engagement planned for summer 2020 has now been postponed until late autumn due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will be using this email newsletter to keep residents informed of those dates and the method of engagement once they are agreed.
Please encourage friends and neighbours to sign up for this email newsletter so they too can get the information direct to their inbox.
We particularly want to hear from residents’ associations and community groups so if you belong to such an organisation please ask them to sign up too.
