Lea Bridge Gateway Masterplan

Walthom Forest

Business engagement

As you may already be aware the Council, in partnership with the GLA, is developing an Employment-led Masterplan for the Lea Bridge Gateway; Argall Avenue, Orient Way Industrial, Lammas Road & Rigg Approach. The Council really values the businesses in these industrial areas and want to involve as many businesses as possible in shaping the future of the Lea Bridge Gateway.

Over the past weeks make:good, as part of the design team commissioned by the Council, have been conducting 1-2-1 meetings with businesses and popping up around the industrial estates to gather your views, priorities and ideas for the masterplan. If you have not already scheduled a 1-2-1 meeting with Nataly from make:good please call 0203 735 7628 or email leabridgegateway@walthamforest.gov.ukletting us know your availability over the coming weeks.

The aim of these meetings is to find out about how you and your business are currently using the local area, and identify your priorities for making Lea Bridge Gateway a successful working neighbourhood. If you would rather answer these questions online in your own time please complete this short form below.

Please join us for a workshop with the masterplanning team where we will present back what we have found out from our conversations with businesses, talk through the first stage of the masterplan and gather more of your feedback and priorities. Due to the pre-election period we will be holding this workshop in the New Year rather than in November as previously planned.
