On Saturday 16 November the Love North Chingford Market will be open for business with lots of delicious food on offer alongside arts and crafts items made by local people.

The Hoe Street Market is back!

The market will be open on Sunday 18 November 2019, 12 noon to 5pm, at the Trades Hall and in its car park next to Yard Sale Pizza.

Other markets this weekend

Walthamstow Farmers Market veg stall

Don't forget the other markets taking place this week.

Tuesday to Saturday sees Europe's longest street market open for business in Walthamstow High Street and nearby Wood Street Indoor Market offering great bargains for shoppers.

The weekly Lloyd Park Market will be open for business on Saturday.

On Sunday the Waltham Forest Farmers' Market and the Sunday Social Market are both open with traders at the Town Square end  of Walthamstow High Street.

New market launches at Station Approach

Station Approach Walthamstow

The Station Approach mini market, located on the newly refurbished Station Approach outside Walthamstow Central Station on Hoe Street, will welcome three local traders each week for the next six months, bringing freshly prepared food to the area.

Starting from Thursday 21 November 2019 the market will be open on Thursdays and Fridays 11am-3pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm.

Traders participating in the pilot include:

  • Bronze Layers – tasty cakes, Caribbean sweets, Jamaican style patties, slush and juices
  • Evia Tasty Food – Greek food
  • Marli’s Kitchen – vegan food
  • MexiJam – a delicious fusion of Mexican and Jamaican cuisine
  • St Best Jamaican – serving the best in Jerk food: chicken, seafood, goat, pork, breadfruit and patties
  • The Falafel Queen – falafel, chicken schnitzel, lamb shwarma
  • Scratch Deli - 100% Vegan Falafel, Salads and Sources are made from scratch with the best quality ingredients.

Winter Night Market next Friday

E17 designers market

E17 Designers has a special Winter Night Market next Friday.

The Market will showcase good quality arts and crafts handmade by different groups and individuals from across the borough. 

So come along on Friday 22 November 2019, 6.30 - 10pm, to One Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 4SD, for some great gift ideas.

Extra markets for Christmas

Walthamstow Community Hub Market December 2019 poster

Waltham Forest Community Hub and Wood Street First have joined forces to hold a Christmas Market on Saturday 14 December 2019, 12 noon - 4pm at Waltham Forest Community Hub, 18A Orford Road, Walthamstow, E17 9LN.

As well as street food and Christmas gifts there will be live music, Santa's Grotto and a pantomime performed at 3pm called Scrooge, an E17 Christmas Carol.

Blackhorse Workshops is holding a Christmas Market on Friday 6 December, 6 - 10pm.

Leyton & Stone is organising an extra pop up market on Saturday 14 December at Welcome to the Forest Bar, 186a Hoe Street, Walthamstow E17 4QH on Saturday 14 December.

This is in addition to the two Christmas markets they are holding in Leytonstone.

Leyton Jubilee Park Market is holding a Winter Weekend Market showcasing local talent, handmade stalls, food and art on Friday 29 November, 5pm to 8pm and Saturday 30 November, 11am to 4pm.
