It may be possible to have your current Selective Licence (PRPL) varied to receive the full term of five years.

The Council has now been given cabinet approval for a new five year term which, if approved by the Secretary of State will commence on Wednesday 1 April 2020.

If you would like your current licence varied to a five year licence from the original issue date please use the request button below..

If you have already submitted a variation application you don't need to submit again as all applications will be processed after the deadline date of Friday 29 November 2019.

The request will need to come from the licence holder and give the full address of the licensed property, any request to vary the licence will mean that you have agreed to the new licence conditions which will be provided on your new varied licence.

You will not be able to apply for a variation if your property falls within any of the categories below:

  • Your property is let to individuals and not a single family
  • Your property is in Endlebury Ward or Hatch Lane Ward
  • You were previously been given a shorter licence for a specific reason, such as lack of planning consent.
Early Bird Special

If the Council does receive confirmation of a new designation the fee for a new licence will be £700. There will be an early bird discount on offer for the first three months of the application going online.

The early bird fee will be £450. If you apply for a variation the early bird discount will not be available to you at the point you need to make a new application.
