Digital 2016 logo

The NPS ICT Category team recently joined key industry leaders from the UK and global tech industry, at the Digital 2016 event at Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.

The two-day conference and exhibition brought together around 2,000 delegates, including experts at the forefront of digital technology and innovation. The event explored how digital trends can be used to help Wales' economy.

David Nicholson, Head of Commercial & Procurement IT said:

"The Digital 2016 event gave the ICT category team opportunity to meet with some of the most innovative tech businesses in Wales. Staff provided guidance to tech start-ups on how to approach the Welsh public sector, and met with colleagues across Welsh Government and the wider ICT sector, to discuss opportunities for working together to assist Welsh SMEs."

The NPS ICT Category team will use the information obtained from this informative day, when working with customers across Wales. For further information on the current ICT frameworks available, please contact NPSICTCategoryTeam@wales.gsi.gov.uk.
