Cyfyngiadau COVID-19 Lefel 4

Ddydd Sadwrn 20 Rhagfyr, cyhoeddodd Llywodraeth Cymru gyfyngiadau COVID-19 newydd a ddaeth i rym ar gyfer gwasanaethau cysylltiad agos am haner nos ar Ddydd Sul 20 Rhagfyr.

Byddwch yn ymwybodol mai dehongliad AGIC o'r rheoliadau yw hyn, a bydd angen i swyddog gorfodaeth gymryd unrhyw benderfyniad terfynol ynghylch a oes hawl gan sefydliad i barhau ar agor, fel y'i pennwyd yn Rhan 7 o'r rheoliadau, sef yr heddlu neu swyddog dynodedig o'ch awdurdod lleol.

Dewch o hyd i'r rheoliadau yma.

Darparwyr gwasanaethau laser a golau pwls dwys

Fel y gwelwyd yn ystod y cyfnod atal byr ym mis Hydref/mis Tachwedd, bydd yn ofynnol i wasanaethau sy'n darparu triniaethau cosmetig gau yn ystod cyfnod y cyfyngiadau lefel 4, yn unol â'r rhestr o fusnesau roedd yn ofynnol iddynt gau (e.e. salonau trin gwallt, salonau harddwch, parlyrau tatŵs) a welir yn Atodlen 4, Rhan 4 o'r rheoliadau.

Caniateir i wasanaethau sy'n darparu triniaethau laser a golau pwls dwys (IPL) anghosmetig am resymau meddygol barhau ar agor, ond dim ond triniaethau meddygol ar gyfer salwch neu anaf yn unig y caniateir iddynt eu darparu

Clinigau Annibynnol, asiantaethau meddygol annibynnol ac Ysbytai Annibynnol sy'n darparu gwasanaethau rhestredig neu sy'n defnyddio technegau rhagnodedig

Caniateir i wasanaethau sy'n darparu gwasanaethau gofal iechyd i gleifion, gan gynnwys clinigau laser llygaid, barhau ar agor drwy gydol cyfnod y cyfyngiadau lefel 4.

Dylai pob gwasanaeth y caniateir iddo barhau ar agor sicrhau mai dim ond apwyntiadau hanfodol y mae'n ei gynnig, ac mae'n rhaid i bob gwasanaeth ddilyn yr holl fesurau ataliol a chanllawiau i leihau'r risg o drosglwyddo'r feirws i'r staff a'r cleifion.

Byddwn yn ysgrifennu at bob gwasanaeth eto os bydd ein safbwynt yn newid.

COVID-19 Level 4 Restrictions

On Saturday 19 December, the Welsh Government announced new COVID-19 restrictions that came into effect for close contact services at Midnight on Sunday 20 December.

Please find a link to the regulations here

Please be advised that this is HIW’s interpretation of the regulations and that any final decision on whether an establishment is entitled to stay open will need to be taken by an enforcement officer as prescribed Part 7 of the regulations, namely the police or a designated officer from your local authority.

Laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) providers

As was the case in the firebreak in October/November, services that provide cosmetic treatments only will be required to close for the level 4 period as per reference to the list of businesses required to close (e.g. hairdressers, beauticians and tattooists) within Schedule 4, Part 4 of the regulations.

Services that provide non-cosmetic laser and IPL treatment to patients for medical reasons are permitted to remain open but are only permitted to provide medical treatment for illness or injury.

Independent Clinics, independent medical agencies and Independent Hospitals providing listed services or using prescribed techniques

Services, including laser eye clinics, who provide healthcare services to patients are permitted to remain open throughout the level 4 period.

All services that are permitted to remain open should restrict appointments to an essential only basis and must adhere to all relevant preventative measures and guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission to staff and patients.

We will write to all services again if we have an updated position.
