Cyhoeddodd Llywodraeth Cymru ddoe (19 Hydref) y bydd cyfnod atal byr er mwyn taclo COVID-19 ledled Cymru ddiwedd yr wythnos hon. Bydd hyn yn dechrau ar 18.00 (6pm) Dydd Gwener, 23 Hydref tan 00.01 (munud ar ôl canol nos) Dydd Llun 9 Tachwedd.
Mae hyn yn golygu y bydd yn debygol y bydd angen i nifer o wasanaethau cofrestredig gau yn ystod y cyfnod atal hwn:
Darparwyr laser / triniaeth golau pwls dwys: ein barn gychwynnol yw y bydd rhaid i wasanaethau sy'n darparu dim ond triniaethau cosmetig gau, yn unol â'r cyfeiriad at wasanaethau cyswllt agos (trinwyr gwallt, harddwyr a siopau tatŵs) yn y Cwestiynau Cyffredin Llywodraeth Cymru.
Gwasanaethau cofrestredig eraill: rydym yn ceisio cael cyngor ar yr hyn y bydd y rheoliadau wedi'u diweddaru yn ei olygu i wasanaethau sy'n darparu triniaethau meddygol nad ydynt yn gosmetig yn y math hwn o sefydliad.
Byddwn mewn cysylltiad eto â chi yn ystod y dyddiau nesaf, unwaith y bydd Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cyhoeddi'r rheoliadau ddiweddaraf a'r rhestr o fusnesau sydd wedi’u effeithio.
Yesterday (19 October), the Welsh Government announced that a “firebreak” to tackle COVID-19 will be introduced across Wales at the end of this week. This will be in effect from 18.00 (6pm) on Friday 23 October until 00.01 Monday 9 November.
This will mean that a number of registered services will likely be required to close during this period:
Laser / IPL providers: our initial view is that those providing cosmetic treatments only will be required to close as per reference to close contact services (hairdressers, beauticians and tattooists) in the Welsh Government FAQs.
Other registered services: we are seeking advice on what the updated regulations will mean for services that provide non-cosmetic medical treatments in this type of establishment.
We will be in touch again with all services in the coming days, once the updated regulations and the list of affected businesses have been published by Welsh Government.
