Gwnaethom ysgrifennu atoch yr wythnos diwethaf i ddarparu copi o'r Weithdrefn Weithredu Safonol ar gyfer y Gweithdrefnau sy'n Cynhyrchu Aerosol mewn deintyddfeydd.
Roedd y cyfathrebu hwnnw yn nodi y bwriadwyd llacio'r statws rhybudd COCH ar gyfer deintyddiaeth yng Nghymru i rybudd MELYN o 1 Gorffennaf 2020 ac y gallai deintyddfeydd ddechrau ailgyflwyno triniaethau yn cynnwys Gweithdrefnau sy'n Cynhyrchu Aerosol o'r dyddiad hwnnw.
Yn dilyn cyhoeddiad y Prif Weinidog ynglŷn â llacio'r cyfyngiadau symud ar 19 Mehefin 2020, mae'r Gweinidog Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol wedi cyhoeddi datganiad ysgrifenedig yn cadarnhau y caiff y statws rhybudd COCH ei lacio i MELYN o heddiw, 22 Mehefin 2020. Mae'r Prif Swyddog Deintyddol hefyd wedi cyhoeddi llythyr (Saesneg yn unig) i ddeintyddfeydd i gadarnhau hyn.
O ran deintyddfeydd preifat, mae hyn yn golygu y gallwch ddechrau ailgyflwyno Gweithdrefnau sy'n Cynhyrchu Aerosol o heddiw, cyhyd â'ch bod yn gallu cydymffurfio â gofynion y Weithdrefn Weithredu Safonol a ddosbarthwyd i chi yr wythnos ddiwethaf.

We wrote to you last week to provide a copy of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for providing Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGPs) in dental practices.
That communication indicated that the RED alert status for dentistry in Wales was intended to be downgraded to AMBER from 1 July 2020 and that that dental practices could begin reintroducing treatments involving AGPs from then.
Following the easement of lockdown restrictions announced by the First Minister on 19 June 2020 the Minister for Health and Social Services has issued a written statement confirming that the RED alert status for dentistry will be downgraded to AMBER from today, 22 June 2020. The CDO has also issued a letter to dental practices confirming this.
In terms of private dentistry this means that you can start the re-introduction of AGPs from today providing you are able to comply with the requirements of the SOP circulated to you last week.
