Sent on behalf of Welsh Government
Saesneg yn isod / English below
Mae CIW yn anfon ar ran Llywodraeth Cymru. Anfonwyd yr e-bost isod i bob cartref gofal drwy'r porth profi yr wythnos diwethaf, ond fe'n hysbyswyd nad yw rhai cartrefi gofal wedi'i dderbyn. Gweler isod wybodaeth bwysig am gael mynediad i'ch porth ac archebu pecynnau profi lluosog.
Gydweithwyr,
Gweler yr wybodaeth isod a anfonwyd gan yr Adran Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol ddydd Gwener diwethaf i gartrefi gofal ynglŷn â newidiadau i’r porth profi sefydliadau. Rydym yn cael ar ddeall nad yw rhai cartrefi gofal wedi cael yr wybodaeth hon. Mae’n bosibl mai cartrefi sydd heb symud drosodd eto i’r Porth Sefydliadau o system Cymru yw’r rhain. Sylwch ein bod yn ymwybodol bod rhai o’r pethau yn y gweminar yn benodol i Loegr ond mae’r wybodaeth gyffredinol ynglŷn â defnyddio’r porth yn ddefnyddiol i gartrefi gofal yng Nghymru hefyd.

CIW is sending the following on behalf of Welsh Government.
The below email was sent to all care homes via the testing portal last week, however we have been informed that some care homes have not received it. Please find below important information with regards accessing your portal and ordering multiple testing kits.
Colleagues,
Please see below information sent by the UK Department for Health and Social Care last Friday to care homes in relation to changes to the organisation testing portal. We are getting reports that some care homes have not received this information and this may be homes that have not yet transitioned to the Organisation Portals from the Welsh system. Please note we are aware that some of the webinar content is England specific but the general information relating to using the portal is helpful for Welsh based care homes.
The National Testing Programme (NTP) is assigning all of our users a single Unique Organisation Number (UON). Your UON is exclusive to your care home.
The introduction of these UONs coincides with the launch of the new organisation registration portal which allows you to register multiple test kits in one go.
Your Unique Organisation Number (UON)
UONs mean better data quality, which will help inform an array of scientific research currently being undertaken to track the spread of the virus and regularly monitor how it is impacting organisations taking part in the testing programme. You will need to use your UON to access all of our services from Friday 28th August.
Os oes angen i chi gael eich atgoffa o'ch rhif sefydliad unigryw (UON), gallwch wneud hynny drwy ymweld â’r tudalen chwilio rhif sefydliad unigryw neu drwy gysylltu â'r Rhaglen Brofi Genedlaethol ar 119.
If you need to be reminded of your UON, you can do so by visiting Unique organisation number lookup or by contacting the National Testing Programme Helpdesk on 119.
You will need to use your UON in order to access services across all of our care home testing programme portals.
This includes the following portals:
Across these portals, you will no longer use your care home ID.
You’ll also need to use your UON number when contacting us for support, including if you need to call our helpdesk or email our logistics mailbox. It’s how we’ll identify you going forward.
You will need to use your UON from Friday 28th August. From then, we will no longer be accepting your care home ID and will need your UON number to identify who you are.
What will my UON replace?
- In England, it will replace you CQC location ID (typically in the format ‘1-xxxxxx’)
- In Wales, it will replace your Service Unique Reference Number (typically in the format ‘SIN-xxxxx-abcd’)
- In Northern Ireland, it will replace your Regulation & Quality Improvement (RQIA) number (typically a minimum of 4 digits)
- In Scotland, it will replace your Care Inspectorate number (it looks like this: ‘CS1234567890’)
New Organisation Registration Portal
Coinciding with the introduction of UONs we are launching the new Organisation Registration Portal. As of Friday 28 August, care homes will need to register all of their tests using this new portal.
More information on the portal and how to upload multiple registrations can be found here: https://gov.uk/registration-record-keeping-spreadsheet

Who should I contact in an emergency?
If at any stage over the next few days, someone at your care home, cannot cope with the symptoms, or their condition gets worse, or their symptoms do not get better after 7 days, use the https://111.nhs.uk/COVID-19 service. If you do not have internet access, call NHS 111. In a medical emergency, dial 999.
Thank you, COVID-19 Testing Programme
Oherwydd nifer a brys y cyfathrebiadau y mae angen i ni eu hanfon at ddarparwyr ar hyn o bryd o amgylch y pandemig coronafeirws, mae rhai cyfathrebiadau yn cael eu hanfon yn Saesneg yn unig. Ar ein gwefan a'n sianeli cyfryngau cymdeithasol, rydym yn parhau i ddarparu cynnwys Saesneg a Chymraeg cyn gynted ag y gallwn. Ymddiheuriadau am unrhyw anghyfleustra y gallai hyn ei achosi.
Due to the volume and urgency of communications we need to send to providers at the moment around the coronavirus pandemic, some communications are being sent in English-only. On our website and social media channels, we are continuing to provide both English and Welsh content as quickly as we can. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
