Food Business Investment Scheme

Expression of Interest Window now open until 2 July

The scheme is open to applications from a wide range of businesses involved in primary and/or secondary processing of agricultural products.


Sustainable Management Scheme (SMS)

Expression of Interest Window now open until 8 August

The Sustainable Management Scheme provides financial support for a range of activities to manage our natural resources and in doing so contribute to the well-being of our rural communities.

Support Service

The Sustainable Management Scheme support service provides eligible groups with a facilitator, who can provide support for groups to develop their ideas and to submit their Expression of Interest.


Micro Small Business Fund (MSBF)

The Micro Small Business Fund (MSBF) is an investment fund for projects in the tourism sector in Wales. It can be used either to upgrade existing or create new high quality product.



LEADER Cooperation Projects Wales, UK and Transnational

Want to share knowledge, experience and ideas? Interested in working together? Cooperation is more than just networking; it helps to improve the potential for local areas.
Approximately 30 LEADER cooperation projects are currently featured on the ENRD database and seek partners to cooperate with.

Preparing Wales for Brexit

The Preparing Wales website provides information which will help people and organisations prepare for Brexit.


Environment, agriculture and food

A no deal Brexit will have a significant impact on our food, farming, fishing and environment sectors. These are important to the rural economy and also support the sustainability of the Welsh language.


EU funds

In the event of leaving the EU without a deal or transition period, there would be no change in the existing arrangements for beneficiaries of current EU-funded projects.


People living in Wales

We don’t yet know what the impact will be on Wales if we leave the EU without a deal – on the people living in Wales, on businesses operating in Wales and on the public services we all rely on.

Scheme to install a boardwalk, improving accessibility alongside the River Teifi in Cenarth

The boardwalk will be created along the River Teifi in Cenarth, Ceredigion using a £125,000 grant which was given to the local authority by the Welsh Government and work will be carried out over three years with the help of volunteers.
