National Digital Learning Event 2018

The winner of the National Digital Learning Council’s Pupil Award was announced by Kirsty Williams AM, Cabinet Secretary for Education at the National Digital Learning Event on 20 June. Congratulations to Usk Church in Wales Primary School who were announced as the winners with their project ‘Keeping It Fresh - an app to reduce food waste’.

£200,000 Supporting Service Children in Wales Fund

Schools are invited to bid for funding from a £200,000 fund to help mitigate the potential impact of exceptional mobility or deployment of Armed Forces families on schools and their learners. The Fund is administered by the Supporting Service Children in Education (SSCE) Cymru Project.

This pack provides organ donation activities for a PSE lesson aimed at Key Stage 3 & 4. Developed jointly by the Welsh Government and NHS Blood and Transplant, this pack will educate and empower students to discuss donation in class and at home.

100 Years - Explore and learn about the history of Women’s Suffrage, democracy and gender equality

Inspired by PROCESSIONS, a teaching resource has been created which will encourage pupils to develop historical knowledge and awareness of Women’s Suffrage, as well as offering an opportunity to discuss gender equality within today’s context through movement, debate, music and visual art.
