A low carbon pathway for Wales

We are required by law to reduce our emissions by at least 80% in 2050. This will require very significant changes to how we live and work. This consultation presents initial thoughts on how we might reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% between now and 2030.

Farming Connect’s mentoring programme set for expansion with the appointment of additional ‘niche’ mentors

A number of progressive farmers who have successfully diversified into ‘niche’ areas of agriculture such as milking ewes for artisan sheep milk cheeses and yoghurts, rearing turkeys or pigs, producing goat meat products, bee keeping and farm tourism enterprises have been approved as mentors providing guidance and support under Farming Connect’s mentoring programme.
