Hay Festival streaming
the schools programme
Hay Festival is streaming the schools programme for KS 2 & 3 on Thursday
24 May and KS 4 on Friday 25 May. There are 12 events to choose from each day
There are over
700 community and town councils in Wales. They can be in charge of lots of
things in an area like playing fields, public toilets and putting up Christmas
lights. We
are keen to hear the views from the youth of Wales!

UCAS conferences for teachers and
advisers in Wales

Wales is delighted to sponsor two conferences for teachers and advisers in
Wales, organised by UCAS.
The free
events, to be held in Conwy (9 May)
and Cardiff (17 May), aim to help
support students in considering their options and applications, and will cover
the key issues affecting progression to higher education.
Food Innovation Wales are inviting pupils aged 11-16 to create a new Welsh food and drink product to have the chance to win an iPad.
Welsh
students are being encouraged to take the opportunity to improve their cyber these
5 day residential courses, which are aimed at students between the ages of 14-
17.
Students at
Welsh schools/ colleges are being given priority if they book before Tuesday
