The Timber Business Investment scheme provides funding for capital investments that add value to forests by enabling woodland management activities, timber harvesting and/or timber processing.

Encouraging planning for the creation of broadleaved and conifer woodland, and contribute to the delivery of the objectives of the Environmental and Rural Affairs Monitoring and Modelling Programme (ERAMMP).

All Glastir Organic contract holders are reminded that a valid Organic Control Body (OCB) certificate and Land Schedule with a recognised OCB must be submitted to meet the continuous certification scheme rules.

Glastir Entry and Advanced: Common Errors

Farm businesses should familiarise themselves with the most common errors and issues found during administrative checks and inspections in 2017. The fewer issues that are found during an inspection, the quicker the inspection will be completed.

Farm businesses are reminded that their Glastir Contract Summaries are available via their RPW Online account, and can be used to aid completion of their SAF 2018.

Farm businesses have until 30th April to submit any Glastir Small Grants claims that were subject to a derogation(s).

The Expression of Interest window for Glastir Woodland Restoration is now open and will close 4th May 2018. Guidance and information are available on the Welsh Government website.
